Diversity Visa Passport Rule
The Trump Administration is trying to bring back the Diversity Visa Passport Rule — a racist policy that caused an 8 million drop in applications across the globe, 5 million of which were African applicants.
ACT coordinated a lawsuit against this same rule in 2019 and won! The court agreed that the previous Trump administration illegally issued the passport rule.
You can join us in fighting back against the latest version of this rule by submitting a comment to express why this rule is harmful. We have less than 30 days to submit a public comment and prevent the rule from taking effect.

The government is piloting a visa bond program that forces travelers from certain countries to pay $5,000 - $15,000 upfront just to visit the United States. The government alleges that the program is aimed at addressing visa overstays, but in reality, it is another racist policy aimed at preventing Africans from traveling to the U.S.
This new rule currently only applies to two countries, Malawi and Zambia, however we anticipate the program expanding to include many other African countries.
Can you imagine having to put up an additional $15,000 just to visit a family member?

ACT opposes the "Dignity Act"
We are speaking out against the "Dignity Act". Despite its name, this bill does nothing to bring dignity to immigrant families. Instead, it adds more harmful restrictions.
