Hi All,

Last week, the Alexandria Times posted an editorial [1] where they decried opinion pieces that "denigrate local residents" alongside an opinion piece [2] that denigrated local residents. In particular, citizen volunteers who serve on Alexandria's many boards and commissions deserve respect.

This week, representing Grassroots Alexandria, I wrote to ask Alexandria Times to live up to their own standards and to fact-check the opinion piece.
