What: Grassroots Alexandria monthly action meeting
When: Thursday, June 4, 7-9pm
Where: 3801 Mt Vernon Ave (TWU building), 22305
Why: because we want things to change
This will be a joint meeting of project leaders and team members working on human rights (ICE Out), pro-democracy action (Community Voices), Education, Environment, Housing Equity, and Transportation Equity.
We will be updating each other on immediate concerns (safer streets, abolish ICE), under-represented human rights concerns (remove police from schools, divest from apartheid), and longer term issues (2027 legislative priorities).
