4/2, 7pm, Grassroots Alexandria monthly action meeting
When: Thursday, April 2, 7-9pm
Where: 3801 Mt Vernon Ave (TWU building), 22305

This will be a joint meeting of project leaders and team members working
on Alexandria Human Rights, Pro-democracy action, Education,
Environment, Housing Equity, and Transportation Equity.

We will be updating each other on immediate concerns, such as the city
budget, the housing master plan update, previously under-represented
human rights concerns (police in schools), and ICE in Alexandria. We
will discuss ongoing projects.

This month will be structured similarly to the meeting held in February,
where the first half will be check-ins, updates and calls to action from
each team, and general touching base and welcoming of any new team
members.

Postponed for last month: For the second half of the meeting, we'll be
conducting an interactive workshop around our website: what we like;
what improvements could engage more people. Bring your ideas, your
energy, and we'll see you there!
