Our apologies. This training is this Sunday, not Saturday!

Just a reminder that DC COLLAB's Street Law 101: Summer Surge Survival Training is happening this SUNDAY, June 28, from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM.

As DC prepares for a significant increase in federal and local law enforcement presence during the July 4th America 250 celebrations, this training will help community members understand what to expect, know their rights, and learn practical ways we can protect and support one another.

We'll cover:

• Your rights during police encounters, stops, frisks, and searches
• How increased policing impacts Black communities and young people
• What to do if you witness police abuse
• How to document police activity
• Community-based strategies for protection, support, and rapid response

This isn't a lecture, it's neighbors learning from neighbors, building the knowledge, relationships, and skills we need to keep our communities safe.

We hope to see you there!

In solidarity,

DC COLLAB
