SMS hopping

Hi,

I am really struggling to decode my SMS traffic which my provider appears to send over hopping channel.

I have channelized a wideband capture for ARFCN's 121 (BCCH) and 93. Channels are:

I can decode the BCCH using the flowgraph on 121 without any problems. But the output for the hopping which is on 93 is empty. Wiring up the message printer to the hopper block is empty.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,

All looks good to me.

1)  You are tuned to your intended ARFCN and receive info packets which list ARFCNs 121 & 93 for hopping.

2) This means that only one will be used, from the list provided. Not both.

Doesn't it decode fine with your flow?
