Hi Guys.

I already got the GSM SMS after last Decode with my KC but the status SMS is Report not Deliver as usual so I cant see the SMS.
this the result :

GSM A-I/F DTAP - CP-DATA

.... ..10 = TP-MTI: SMS-STATUS REPORT (2)
TP-MR: 43
TP-Recipient-Address - (destination number)
TP-Service-Centre-Time-Stamp

0... .... = Definition of bits 0-6: as follows
.000 0000 = Error: Short message transaction completed (0)

Hi Jack,
There is noting wrong with that. When you send an SMS it is sent on the so called "uplink" (from phone to the network) and the response is send back on the so called "downlink" (from network to phone) and as you are capturing only the downlink it is expected to see only the response and not the original SMS. That's why I've asked you to test with receiving an SMS.

A link to your github issue - https://github.com/ptrkrysik/gr-gsm/issues/472

Vasil

Try receiving an SMS that you send from another phone.

I doubt that but who knows, try another phone.

Trying different things is always a good approach.

You could get Kc using AT commands from most Android and feature phones. Here are some links:

SMS is a GSM standard. All mobile OS (blackberry, android, etc) adhere
to it, or they wouldn't be able t0 use SMS...

It is much easier to get the BTS downlink (~50 W) than the mobile
uplink (~50 mW). You would have to be in close proximity to the
mobile, and use appropriate directional antennas.
Uplink is separated from downlink by ~50 Mhz.
