visibility of repeating tasks in the future

Hi all,

I have a task that repeats every week on Friday (e.g. maintenance website).  For my planning purposes I need to have this repeating task in my agenda.  Now only the current task of next Friday is visible in my agenda but I need to see the upcoming task on all Fridays.  Otherwise I would schedule something on an upcoming Friday that is the same time frame as the task.

I am clueless how to resolve this besides creating a repeating agenda item in google calendar itself.

Hi Jan,

Unfortunately recurring tasks will only work in the way that you've described, with the next occurence showing only once the last task has been completed. There is no workaround at this time (other than adding these tasks directly to your Google Calendar), but we are aware that this design presents some issues with planning ahead. This is on our list of requested improvements for the future, so I've added your vote!

Until now, I put that kind of tasks in a Google calendar I created and named Recurring tasks. I dream of Gqueues supports recurring tasks as an agenda, allowing to move one instance or all upcoming instances.
