I'm sure you have a way to sort by date as a default, right? :)
I am tired of clicking the "reorder" and "reorder by date" - 15 times per day. Thanks.

Thank you, I get this and do it multiple times a day. What I am getting at is...when a new task is created, or when you leave and come back to gqueues, the order defaults back to the order of when you created the event. When I create an event, I want it to fall into place under when it is due. Get it.. I don't want to have to keep reordering my list by date. I don't care when I put the event in the system. I only care when the task is due.

Hi Chad -

Smart Queues may help in this situation.

In regular queues, tasks are shown in the manually arranged order.  Dragging the tasks up and down changes the order.  You can use the REORDER menu to simplify this manually dragging for a particular order.  This is a one time rearrangement of the tasks in the queue.

Smart Queues display tasks that meet a particular criteria, and you can set the SORTING and GROUPING of how the tasks are displayed.  This does not actually reorder the tasks in the source queue, it just displays the tasks sorted in a particular way.

So if you always want to see tasks SORTED in a certain way, I would suggest creating a Smart Queue and then set the default SORT of that Smart Queue.  Then whenever you click on the Smart Queue you will see the tasks how you want.

Does that help?
