I want to create re-usable checklists. Let's say everytime I go camping, I want to run through a checklist of camping items that I checkoff.
Or process-wise, everytime I go for a motorcycle ride, I run through a procedures checklist to assure that everything is working properly.
Right now, the best solution I can find it to set the checklist to repeat when completed on a daily basis, but I want the task (and its subtasks) to be re-generated whenever the task is completed.
How could I accomplish this?

Would it be possible to add a custom type of queue and task whose contents are of type checklists and whose contents are re-generated everytime the entire list is checked off?

The quick add feature is pretty useful and I think might help you do what your are looking to do. Only thing it doesn’t offer is automatics regeneration of all of the tasks.

https://www.gqueues.com/help/quickAdd

Save your reusable task lists in a text file or even in the notes field of an existing task. When you need to “reuse” the list of tasks simply copy them all from your text list and paste them in quick add and your entire set of tasks will be generated in the queue you choose.

Thanks for sharing, Tom - not quite what I was looking for since I'm often on mobile when running through my procedures checklists, but helpful for other types of process docs.

Stay healthy!

Hello,

Make a category that you could call "Models".
In it, build you camping and riding queues, set of tasks
Than, hover the needed queue. A down pointing arrow button will show :

Click on it and chose "Duplicate" :

Again, this work on computer. And, when you duplicate, dates are not relative ! It's why soooo many people request real model queues or projects, including me, for years. You could create many copies on the computer, and use them one at a time on your mobile device, and move it to the right category (that you can on mobile).

Let's dream, in the meantime.

Hope this helps somehow.

Hello all,

A while back, I created a spreadsheet to help with a similar situation. Though it might not suit your purposes exactly, it might give you some ideas. The formulas in the workbook generate a block of QuickAdd text for tasks with dates relative to each other. Just follow the instructions to fill in the yellow cells on the first tab, then copy and paste the formatted QuickAdd text generated on the second tab into GQueues.

Hope this is helpful!
