Notifications not working!

Since I started using GQueues... I haven't been able to get the SMS,
or Email notifications to work.
My due dates show up on my Google Calendar named "GQueues" correctly.
If I change the date, it does move around accordingly. If i open the
task IN google calendar to edit the event, it does show the
notification that I selected, but it doesn't work. If I adjust the
notification from inside that particular event, it still doesn't
work.

If i create a NEW event in Google Calendar (not GQueues!) and select
the desired notification, it works correctly. Also, In my Google
Calendar Settings (calendar name "GQueues" ), I have selected that an
email is sent when events are updated or created. This also does not
work.

It wasn't a big deal to me previously because I was mainly using
Google Calendar to set my dates and reminders instead of GQueues, but
now I'm trying to consolidate and work from only one program. So now,
its more necessary that I get these notifications to start working.

Question/Suggestion regarding this: When setting a due date on
GQueues tasks, would it be possible to use the notification default
that I have set on my Google Calendar settings rather than entering an
'overriding' setting from GQueues notification? (i.e. my default is an
EMAIL 8 hours before AND a SMS 30 minutes before)

I have the exact same problem: Reminders set in GQueues doesn't go
off. If I set them from within Google Calendar they work...
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Same here! They work occasionally, but not reliably. I use the Pop-
Up, because it works with the calendar on my android phone.

I have this problem too. I've tried activating and deactivating Google
Calendar integration again and again to no avail.

Items added in Gqueues show up just fine on my Calendar, and the
reminders are even properly set up, but the notifications for those
items never alert.

Strange bug, but I'd love to see it fix because other wise the
reminders feature is pretty useless.

Thanks,

I noticed this too. I haven't bought the full version because it
didn't seem reliable.
I would if it could be fixed, though!

I'm using the full version and face the same issue. Sometimes de/
activating remedied the issue. but today GQ is not able to connect to
the calendar anymore.
It's a serious issue because I rely on notification otherwise I miss
deadlines :-(

These missed notifications seem to be a problem with Google Calendar's service since GQueues is setting them correctly for the events in Google Calendar.

This is listed as a "Known Issue" on Google Calendar's help page:

And according to this latest post from Google on July 8th they have been working on the problem and are getting close to a solution:

Hopefully they will resolve the issues soon.

Was there ever a solution for this? I have the same issue as described above, none of my reminders work, not email, sms or pop-up.

Hi Michael -

The specific issue this post is talking about was resolved several years ago.

If you are not receiving reminders for your tasks I would suggest deactivating Google Calendar integration and reactivating it.  This will create a new GQueues calendar for you and should get things back on track.
