Hi.  I know this question has been asked a LOT over the past few years, but I am unable to find a solution that works for me, so I thought I'd check to see if anyone had any new suggestions.

I have two paid GQueues accounts -- one is linked to my personal Gmail account, and one is linked to my work Google email account.  I'd like to be able to easily/quickly switch between my two GQueues accounts in separate Chrome tabs.  Unfortunately, I have not found a way to simultaneously stay logged into my two GQueues accounts.

I already have set up multiple Chrome profiles for each of my Google accounts and can easily switch back and forth between my personal and work email pages and calendars.  I have also installed the "GQueues Chrome Extension" and the "GQueues for Gmail" extension in Chrome, but it appears to only install them

To switch from my work GQueues account to my personal GQueues account, it appears I have to first "Sign Out" of my work account, and then log into my personal GQueues account.  Unfortunately, when I "Sign Out" of my work GQueues account, I also get logged out of my work Google account, which messes up my email and calendar settings.  This simply does not work for me.

Is there a way within Chrome to be simultaneously logged into two paid GQueues accounts (work and personal)?  If not, I don't think there is any point in having multiple paid GQueue accounts, and I probably need to cancel my personal GQueues account.

Hi Alex -

This should work - I've had multiple GQueues accounts open simultaneously utilizing Chrome Profiles for years now.

Do you have 2 Chrome Profiles?  One Profile should be setup for your "work" Google account.  Only log in to that profile with your "work" account.  You should not have to logout of that account.  Only your "work" Gmail, Calendar and GQueues accounts should be logged in and open in that Profile.

Set up a separate Profile for your "personal" Google account.  Only log in to that profile with your personal Gmail account.  Gmail, Calendar, and GQueues should be logged in with your personal @gmail.com address in this Profile.

You can then have both profiles open at the same time.  These will be two separate Chrome windows.  If things are setup correctly, you should never have to logout of your accounts in either profile.  Just toggle between windows to access the desired account.

Here's a video that should help explain how to set things up:

Hi, Alex:
You don't have to cancel any accounts because you can have multiple GQueues accounts that work on your desktop (Windows 10), your smartphone (iphone 6) and on your iPad without having to repeatedly sign-in or sign-out of any account.  Cameron runs up to 8 different GQ accounts and Chrome profiles for himself and I currently, run 3 on my own.  I have a personal and two business accounts so I can assure you that the setup works regardless of how many GQ accounts you have.  You said you already have separate Chrome profiles setup, so all you have to do is to sign into the respective GQ account for that Chrome profile.  For example, when I'm in my Personal Chrome Profile, I only login into my personal GQ account and none of the other GQ accounts. If I want to switch to one of my GQ business accounts, I then click the upper righthand Chrome profile tab with the drop down menu showing all the other Chrome profiles and select the business name profile I want.  Once I've selected that Chrome profile, I then login into that specific GQ business account using my Google Gmail sign-in and I then have access to my GQ business account.  I didn't have to sign-out of my personal GQ account because it is in another Google Chrome profile which is independent of the business chrome profile. I can repeat this process again for the next GQ business account, namely, change the Google Chrome profile to the next business name and then sign-in to your next GQ business account using your Google Gmail login.  You now have all three GQ accounts open at the same time and you can switch between all of them by simply using the upper righthand Chrome Profile tab.
On your smartphone, whether IOS or Android, go into Accounts... , select the GQ account you want, click Done and your into that particular GQ account. To switch to another GQ account, just go back into Accounts..., select one of your other GQ accounts and so on.  Just be aware that you had to have used the Add Account button at the bottom of the Select Account page to first setup access to each one of your GQ accounts. So you can switch between all of your GQ accounts while your on the go with your phone or your tablet. I only sign-out of my GQ accounts once in awhile, just to trigger any updates that may be waiting to be activated when you login.  So in essence, setup a Google Chrome Profile for each one of your GQ accounts, select/access the profile, once there, sign-into the GQ account that goes with that profile using your Google Gmail login for that profile.  Make sure that it is a one to one assignment, meaning one Chrome profile to only one GQ account.  Once logged in, you can repeat process for all your other profiles and GQ accounts.  Use the Chrome Profile tab to switch between profiles and GQ accounts on your PC.  On your smartphone/tablet, go to Accounts... and choose which GQ account you want, just make sure to look at the top of the page to make sure your in the right GQ account before making changes and then realizing after the fact that you've added personal data into your work account or vice versa. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Cameron and John,

Thank you for the quick replies and suggestions.  I tried opening up separate Chrome profiles in separate Chrome windows (not just tabs), but have the same problem -- to open up my work Gqueues account in a new Chrome window, I first have to log out of my personal Gqueues account, which also logs me out of Gmail, etc.

I am using Windows 7 -- is that perhaps the problem?  Do I need to using Windows 10 to have multiple GQueues accounts open simultaneously?

I have found a workaround that's not ideal but probably feasible and the best I can figure out.  If I open up a new Incognito Window via Chrome, I can then log into that with my work GQueues account without having to first log out of my personal GQueues account.  It has to be a new Incognito window, not just a new window.  So unless someone can explain to me what I'm doing wrong with Chrome Profiles, I guess that's what I'm going to need to do.  I have already watched the Chrome Profiles video and it didn't help.  I tried removing my work profile and recreating it, but same results.

One weird thing >> I'm logged into my "work" Chrome Profile in an Incognito Window.  When I click on Settings, instead of going to a new tab in the Incognito window, I am sent back to my "personal" Chrome Profile in the other non-Incognito window.

It sounds like you are trying to open two different chrome profiles linked to the same email address. One profile should be linked to one of the email addresses and the other should be linked to the other. Then, when you open each profile the gqueues account will link to the address attached to the profile / gmail that is logged in there.

I can verify it works as I have done this for a separate home / work gqueues connection.

Thanks for everyone's prompt help.

Each of my two Chrome profiles is linked to a different email -- one profile is linked to my personal Gmail address, and the other profile is linked to my work email (via a Google Suite account).  I can switch back and forth between these profiles very easily by clicking on the icon on the upper right corner of my Chrome browser.  Here's a screen shot of my two Chrome profiles:

Here are my two GQueues account profiles from the two tabs with emails that match:

When I launch my Chrome browser and pull up GQueues, I am logged into my personal GQueues account.  When I pull up a new tab, open my work-related Chrome profile and then open the GQueues app, and it shows I am logged into my work GQueues account.  But when I go back to my personal GQueues account tab, I receive the following error message:

"Sorry, you are not authorized to view the requested tasks."

Could my problem be that each of Chrome profiles is linked to a Google-provided email?  One via Gmail, and one via Google Suite.

Or could my problem be that I'm using Windows 7?  Is anyone using Windows 7 and been successful accessing two GQueues accounts simultaneously?

Hi Alex -

Thanks for the screenshots.  This is very helpful and clarifies the situation.

So you are actually not using Chrome Profiles at all, according to the screenshots.

Google has something called "Multiple account login" which allows you to login to multiple Gmail accounts at the same time, in the same browser window.  This works in any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc...).  This is what you are doing.

"Multiple account login" does not actually keep your browsing sessions separate - which is what's necessary to have multiple GQueues accounts open at the same time.

You need to actually set up Chrome Profiles in order for this to work.

I know this can be confusing, but "Multiple Account Login" and "Chrome Profiles" are completely different things and work differently.

We have a video here with steps to get started with Chrome Profiles:

There are also steps listed on this article from PC World:

Best of luck!

Hi Alex, from your exampls you have actually linked two accounts to one in Gmail rather than actually set up a CHROME profile. To set up an addiitonal profile, try the following:

1) Click on the hamburger menu for chrome (the three dots) and choose settings

2) Choose Manage other people

3) Click Add Person

4) Choose an ICON/Picture to represent the user and whether to create a desktop icon or not (Helps for quick access to that user's profile)

Thanks!  Now I understand!  I've (finally) got it set up and working correctly.

I actually had set up two different Chrome profiles, but I didn't know how to switch between them.

Thanks again!
