Hi Cameron,

Can we get a settings option for week start on Monday (or Saturday,
for that matter) to match the option in Google Calendar?

It isn't urgent, but it would be nice and I bet you have the GQueues/
GCal users out there have Monday as their actual week start date.

Cheers,

Christoph

If you had looked, you would have noticed that you can do this by
changing the Google calendar settings.

Hey, mb01915,
can you please be more specific?
I, like Christoph, use Monday as the first day of the week.
In Google Calendar theere is an option to do this, which I have
activated.
However on the date picker in Gqueues the weeks start on Sunday, and
this is what I suspect Christoph is saying.

It's not a big deal to me, but it would be a little better if they
started on monday (optionally obviously!).

+1 It is a bit disturbing having sunday as first day of week and can lead to wrong input of the day in the calendar pop-up

+1 Sunday-Monday issue togther with am-pm time display format (instead of 01:00-24:00) slow down input a lot.

Yep.... This caused me to miss doctors appointment last week. I too
use Monday as start of work week.

Okay, I'll add the option to choose which day the week starts on in the next release.  -Cameron

You can now set what day the week starts on.  Thanks for suggesting this change!  More details here:

Well, I defined in my Calendar settings Monday as first day of week, and in the calendar it is actually the first day of week, but when I select a date for an event or the expiration of an activity, the gadget to select the date still shows Sunday as first day of week and this is not only confusing: I often select the wrong date! Can you fix this? Thank you in advance.

Hi Dario -

I just tested this out and am not able to reproduce the issue.  When I change the settings to have the week start on Monday, the calendar shows the week starting on Monday.  Are you still seeing a problem?  Can you tell me more specifically where the calendar is not showing correcting for you?  In the GQueues Gmail Gadget?  The Chrome Extension?  In the app itself?

In Google Calendar the calendar itself starts on Monday, as you can see here:

but the gadget to select a date does not:

Hi Dario -

It looks like you are talking about Google Tasks. You will need to post on the Google Tasks forum to get help with this bug.

This forum is for the product GQueues (not owned by Google), which is a task management service that is an alternative to Google Tasks (a complete replacement, with many more features).

If you want to test out GQueues feel free to sign in here and get started:
