Can I select more than one task at a time to perform an action to all of them? like changing the date or applying tags to them

Hey,

There are already multiple questions for the exact same topic

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/gqueues/select$20multiple - pick the most popular and +1 it ;)

@Cameron have you considered a feature request wish-list/voting-type tool?

Best regards,

Yes, apparently the answer still remains no. I am pretty surprised that something that is so basic to time management and task usage is ignored, when this has been brought up on the forum since 2011. I looked at the 'roadmap' of planned updates referred to in one of the discussions on this topic, but it doesnt have it on there. Can you share with us if and when this is going to be on the next 'roadmap'?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Yocheved -

I agree this would definitely be useful functionality.  This work hasn't been scheduled yet, so I can't give any estimate on when it will be added.  It is still on my internal queue of improvements to make though.

Any final word on this? I really like gqueues but not having this feature really slows me down. PLEASE consider batch editing for your next update!

OP here. I gave up on waiting for years for gqueues to add this feature and now I just sync all my tasks with a calendar and that app allows me to select many at once and edit them. I use weekcal which is the most amazing calendar app out there. What I love about how it syncs with gqueues is that when I check off a task in gqueues it updates the task in my calendar with a check mark in front of it. It's only available for iPhone though.

Thanks for the insight. I'm currently just using Google Calendar with Gmail and then sync it with the native calendar app on iPhone. I'm a huge fan of the Gmail platform and GQueues (despite a few feature limitations such as this) because of their simplicity and lack of integration issues. I assume this would replace the Apple calendar on my iPhone.  For my desktop, would I sync Weekcal with my Gmail calendar?  I obviously want to sync across multiple devices and access my calendar on iPhone, iPad and work and home Mac computers.  Thanks!

I have them all synced- native iPhone calendar, google calendar and weekcal. Any change shows up in all three. This way, it's also accessible from your desktop.

For me, this is hands down the most glaring feature that is missing. And it will impact my decision to continue using GQueues or look to something else that allows batch processing.
