Possible to add GQueues and Contacts to Outlook Synch. This would be a
real help to those of us who to work with Outlook at our jobs and use
Google everywhere else.

Thanks for the suggestion, Russ.  However, adding the ability to sync with Outlook will not be happening in the foreseeable future.  The focus of GQueues is to integrate with other Google products and services - and pursuing this goal right now consumes all of GQueues resources.

Perhaps your company can join the millions that have switched to Google Apps? :)

Hey,

I'd guess there are more than 25 millions Outlook users ;-)

Dear gqueues,

I agree here in the need for sync with Outlook. I am a Google Apps user, but also an Outlook user.  gqueues as a task manager is second to none, which is why I'm a happy paying user.  When I signed up to gqueues I ws using Outlook 2003, however have now upgraded to 2010, which has much much better task functions. .

The issue now is that Outlook 2010's task functions integrate well with other Office apps, especially OneNote, which I use religiously.  The issue I have now is that because there is no sync between gqueues and Outlook I have to choose between them.  As I use Outlook and OneNote more than I use gmail my choice will be Outlook, which will mean me cancelling my subscription to gqueues.

What would be great to have is a sync function that allows my tasks (even just the basic components) and task assignments to be synced between gqueues and Outlook.  I think this is a function many of your users would appreciate, and should ultimately serve to increase your subscriber base.

Thanks and regards
Ben

Agree about the last post.

The sync with Outlook will help me stat using GQueues. For now it's too complicated

I had been using ToDoist for awhile but their calendar integration is found wanting.  I then found and love GQueues except that I am forced to use Outlook at work.  I know this is an old thread, but is there any update on this potential?

Hi Reid -

GQueues has not developed any Outlook integration, and it's still not currently in the plans.

However, you might check out Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook, which may allow you to use your Google Calendar (and GQueues calendar) through Outlook:

Hi Reid,

I am have been using gSyncit for syncing Outlook with Google Calendar. It does a very good job of syncing my many calendars with Google calendars which in turn syncs with GQueues.
