Hi Cameron,

I utilize the calendar feature of GQueues quite extensively. I have certain tasks that are recurring monthly as they are associated with meetings, etc.

I will create a recurring task as 2nd Tuesday at 2:00 pm, for example. When I check the February task complete, March appears as 2 Tuesday @ 2 pm.

Here is my problem. Sometimes a meeting will be rescheduled due to holidays, illness, etc. In those instances, I need to change the date of my associated tasks (move it back one week, move it forward one week, etc.). When I do this, it changes the recurring date setting to this one-off adjusted date/time. Example, 2 Tuesday @ 2 pm is now 1st Tuesday at 2 pm.

Now, when I check February done, March doesn't retain the original 2 Tuesday @ 2 pm, it retains the one-off adjusted meeting date and time (1 Tuesday @ 2 pm, etc.)

I would love a feature similar to Google Calendar that asks if you want to edit "this task" or "all tasks in the series." This would save me so much time and frustration!

Thanks for being so receptive to our suggestions. I have recommended GQueues and several other people at work have started using it!

I'm dreaming of that feature too !!! When deleting one task in Google Calendar, it only deletes the instance in GQueues. But there must be a setting that allows to move the entire series or only the moved instance in GQueues when the move is performed through Google Calendar. Also, GQueues must ask if the change applies to the entire series or only the instance when a task is edited in the GQueues interface. That would be coherent with the behaviours with the deletion operations performed from the two environments.

Thank you for implementing !

Étienne

I fully agree with you. For me it's also very important!

This is a major frustration to me as well. It is something I requested long ago. I don't understand why such a simple functionality which is available in every other productivity type app is not able to be implemented in GQueues. Please, please take care of this. I don't even know if the GQueues team reads this forum anymore because I haven't seen them reply in ages to anything posted. But I would be willing to pay more for real upgrades to the functionality, not just making it look prettier. Good luck to you all!
