Hey Cameron,

Thanks for software; as always

#Feature As a user[0], when I'm viewing queue tasks, I want to select multiple tasks so I can batch/bulk update/delete/move them

NB This feature has been requested since before 2010 (>6 years)[1]

You mentioned it would be added this year, but it's still not even on the roadmap ( http://blog.gqueues.com/p/gqueues-roadmap.html ) - why is this?:

> Yes, it's been moving up the priority list for quite some time.  As of right now, it looks like this will probably be added during the 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year. https://groups.google.com/d/msg/gqueues/4Rk9yVwVavo/zC5g5wV1AQAJ

If anyone else reading this agrees, then please up-vote or reply "+1"

I'll follow up again in the near future and base my decision to keep using https://www.gqueues.com/ on whether it's been added to the roadmap

Please let me know if there's a more suitable place to leave issues?

Let me know if you have any issues - happy to help

Hope this is clear/useful

Look forward to your reply

Yours faithfully

I am also basing whether I stay with the product on this feature.
We're waiting for years and years and it's a significantly central feature

+1 crucial. I get so tired of moving every single task, but I read it when I MOVE it so I am tossed. I ask myself why I don't just do it.

This has become laughable.
I can't believe that they insult the intelligence of their users this way.
Because, if you think you can say "coming soon" for 7 years
why would we believe you.
I used to be okay with the product.
In fact, I recommended it peers - of which over 60 signed up
Now?  They all rib me about what a sucker I was to think it was good
At this point I still use it
but I'm a person with low expectations
I wish they would finesse the important issues
vs. just bringing out new worthless features.

GQueues - I'm still hanging in here
but please do NOT write some insulting comment back such as
"sorry - we're 'working' on it'. "
geesh

Cameron, I have loved your product for a long time but the lack of the ability to select multiple activities and then apply an action (tag, date, etc) is a serious work-flow issue for me. Doing this one at a time each week is turning me off. And it has been 7 years. It is quickly becoming a make/break issue. I am a subscriber as, I suspect, are many here. Time to own up or put up :-)

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It's really great to understand how important this feature is for users.

I understand people have asked for this for many years and are very frustrated that it hasn't been added yet.  And I realize there is nothing I can say that will satisfy people unless it's "this feature is available now."  It has not been developed yet though.  But I wanted to post anyway to say that I do hear you and this feedback does make a difference in development plans.

For new comers, if you agree that you see this as a vital feature please do add your +1 to the list.

I will definitely call on interested users to help beta test when this feature does get to that point of development.

-Cameron

NO REPLY NECESSARY

Hi Cameron,

Thanks for reply

Hope you're well

I'm glad this issue finally made it into the roadmap and good luck with the work

Unsure if you appreciate it or not (😱) but it took me a fair few hours of research to compile/consolidate this topic. Generally I'm the type of person to +1 an existing topic but I found so many duplicate topics I felt a fresh start would be best; which appears to be the case judging by contributions since.

May I suggest you seriously consider steering feature requests to a purpose built *open* voting system in future

Hope this is useful

Regards

PS Overall poor UX IMO but http://uservoice.com would be an improvement over http://groups.google.com and already adopted by some other popular softwares[0]

I've been teetering on whether to try another task manager but GQueues is so flexible and gets so much right. This feature would help keep me solidly in the GQueues camp. +1 on selecting multiple tasks. It's tedious checking off tasks, one at a time, especially when you've neglected a task management routine for a while as I'm sometimes prone to do. :) +1

it's a critical issue, without it we are not sure if we'll be able to purchase as we manage very long task queues and it's essential to be able to manage tasks in bulk.

Thank you!

It’s a big bugbear for me too. I only use it as it is so integrated with Google if it were not for that then I'd be using OmniFocus or similar.

A better notes display and editing would be nice.
In-line images for notes

I'm sure there are more. It would be good to do some research with your users I think.

Stacie,
It has been in the "roadmap" for a long time and this has been bouncing around in forums for years. This too is a critical feature for myself and many users. Can we get a definitive date and timeline?

I've stuck with GQueues on the promise it was "coming soon" for a long time and am frustrated that it hasn't.

Thanks in advance.

Shane

And still - nothing except "working on it" or "it's on the list"
I actually see this as paramount to using the system.
I pay for GQueues year after year - but ... I haven't logged in for ages simply because of this
Some of us (many actually) need to change dates on 50+ things at once

I hope they are seeing the 2010 thread ...
Well said - but looking back - it has been NINE YEARS
"Lewis Dexter Litanzios: NB This feature has been requested since before 2010 "
- and they even replied in 2016 "3rd or 4th quarter"
I also only use it for the Google integration
but super cumbersome.
