Cameron - Thanks for getting back.
Making it a user option makes complete sense.
The date of the item would actually change at midnight and roll over
to the next day. That way the overdue item is always tied to the
"correct" day in the sense that if you didn't get round to doing
something important one day, you will see that item appear on the next
day. It doesn't get left behind in the days and weeks that slip by all
too quickly.
The "Overdue" Smart Queue is OK for what it does in GQueues but it has
no effect in Google Calendar. And it is the very good integration
with Google Calendar that makes GQueues attractive.
One other thing - if you could add this feature to GQueues, you would
have another unique "selling" point for this application. As far as I
am aware there is no current web application that has this very useful
feature. There have been plenty of requests to the Google team for
such a feature for Events/Tasks in Google Calendar but to date Google
has not come up with the goods.
