UPDATE: Improved Collaboration Syncing

We have just finished a complete overhaul of the syncing infrastructure that allows you to see changes in real-time made by collaborators. Here's a summary of changes:

1. When someone else is viewing a shared queue at the same times as you, their image will now appear to the right of the queue title so you know who else is currently collaborating.

You can hover your mouse over the person's image to see more details, and even start a Google Hangout with the person.

If the person moves on to a different queue, their icon will disappear.

2. Changes made to tasks have always appeared in real-time, but now everything on the page is updated in real-time, WITHOUT needing to click the browser's refresh button.  Real-time syncing now includes:

a. newly shared queues

b. changes to queue titles, notes and colors

c. new tasks that have been assigned to you

d. new tasks sent to your Inbox

e. new tasks from Google Calendar

f. new tasks from the Chrome Extensions

g. any changes made from the mobile apps

Now if you leave GQueues open in your browser all day you can be assured you are always seeing the most current, up-to-date info without having to refresh.

The improvements launched today -- just re-login to GQueues to start experiencing them!

Hello,

This is related to our companies issue that I am the main queue sharer in the company, whenever a staff member assigns us a task in that queue it says that I shared or assigned a task, not themselves. It never used to be like this, it used to work properly until maybe 6 weeks ago, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Matthew - 

Sorry for the trouble.  We have fixed the bug.  Now when a collaborator assigns a task in a shared queue, the notification will properly show the person who made the assignment instead of the queue owner.  Thanks for reporting the issue.
