By trial and error I have found that tasks (events) created by Gqueues in my Google Calendar have their status set to "Busy" and "Default".

As I share my calendar with all my colleagues (so my default Calendar setting is "Public") they get to see all of my tasks.

However, whilst I want to share my appointments with my colleagues I do not want them to see my tasks.

I know I can go into each task (event) and change the status to "Available" and "Private" and then no one else will see them, but this is an organisational overhead I do not need.

Is there any way of changing the default status of a task (event) created from Gqueues to "Available" and "Private", this would hide all my tasks from my colleagues.

Technically, I could change my calendar default to "Private" but this would not be acceptable in my company.

Regards - Martin.

Hi Martin -

Since the GQueues calendar is completely separate from your primary calendar can you just not share your GQueues calendar with your colleagues and then they won't see your tasks?  Or am I missing something?

Cameron,
No you are not missing something, I am!

You are right of course, I had completely forgotten that the GQueues calender is separate from my shared Work Google calendar.

Sorry to waste your time.

Regards - Martin.
