Hi,
I just tried to convert an event-series in my regular calendar to a gqueues-task. In the event-view I chose copy to gqueues (the calendar), but the ask did not appear in gqueues.
I then created a new event in the gqueues-calendar which was recognized in gqueues - but i could not set it a recurring task in google caledar.
maybe this can be fixed?
tia.

last msg today - hopefully ;)

[ i just digged in this problem again: copying an event to gqueues-
calendar works, if the recurring checkbox is unchecked. ]

BUT: it'd be cool if the notes in the event would be transferred to
the notes in gqueues - which works the other way around.

[ notes from gqueues to google: maybe you could insert a linebreak
after the string "notes:" and convert caracters like apostrophe from
"'" to " ' "? ]

TIA

Repeating tasks in GQueues are handled differently than how Google Calendar treats repeating events, so yes, unfortunately a repeating event in Calendar will not translate into a repeating GQueues task.  -Cameron

thank you for your answer. i know that it's not the same construct,
but it should be possible (i know, it won't be done without time) to
extract the periodic behaviour and apply it to the task (which then
can replace the whole periodic event).

frankly speaking I'd love to get into the code, but I doubt you'll publish it...

I'd like to 2nd the motion that notes entered in a calendar event created in the GQueues google calendar be copied to the notes in the corresponding GQueues task. I just tried this and the notes I entered into the calendar entry did not appear in the GQueues task.

However, if I added a note to the task that note was copied to the calendar entry; but the original note entered in the calendar entry were lost (replaced by the note from GQueues task).

The two-way GQ<>google calendar integration is a real +1 for GQueues; there are just a few wrinkles right now.

Thanks!

Dave
