I'm trying to setup an automatic track & record station for AO-85 using gpredict and GQRX (until I finish writing my own). Basically I want to be capturing audio streams during passes where I can't be there to manually start/stop recording. I'm using GQRX v2.4-23. It doesn't appear that the AOS/LOS signals are getting sent from gpredict to GQRX. I'm seeing the tune work properly for doppler but the AOS event doesn't start the recorder. It should, shouldn't it? If so, is there a particular configuration or set of conditions that need to be met for this to work?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Since AOS/LOS messages are additions to the protocol, they have to be
explicitly enabled in the radio configuration. There is a checkbox for
AOS and one for LOS.

It has to be gpredict from git, not the released version.

That did it, thank you. I'm going to add this link for anyone who might need some extra help getting it built via git.
