I was wondering if anyone has had a similar situation.
Sometimes I run GQRX and the whole program is slower.
The Spectrum is slower, the frequency changing is slower and also changing the modes is slower.
For example I jump frequency by 400khz to another FM broadcast and it can take 2 seconds to change (when GQRX is running slower).
This is not relevant to the pc as I have had this happen on 3 pc's now and none of them have the cpu pegged at 100%.
also the memory in use is not limited in any way or running low.
this is not a cpu related problem.
If I shut gqrx down and then restart it, its fine.
Has anyone else had this and know why it happens ?
I have mostly seen this in the FM bands with the mode set to wide.

The only "slowness" I have encountered was latency with rtl-sdr
devices. for me it was usually sufficient to stop and start DSP.
