Hello.  I'm attempting to use Gqrx on Linux Mint 15 and on startup (using a terminal session) I get:

linux; GNU C++ version 4.7.3; Boost_104900; UHD_003.005.003-0-unknown

Segmentation fault

I retrieved the package from the PPA using the Ubuntu Raring series.  I'm not sure where to start with troubleshooting this, however below is the tail end of an strace.  Thanks in advance for any help you can lend.

Are you using a USRP device? Which?
Is it the releases PPA? If yes have you tried the snapshots?

I'm using a Funcube Dongle Pro+, just received in the mail today.

Maybe you are haviing this issue:

Check dmesg to see if you get this error.

I checked dmesg and I am indeed getting that error.  So I plugged the FCD into a USB1 hub and now I don't get the error, however Gqrx still segfaults at start up.

Thanks for the information.  Although I don't have Gqrx working yet, I'm now able to get Quisk to work and SDRSharp is working in a Windows 7 virtual machine running on the same Linux box, now that I've addressed the dmesg error.  So I'm much further ahead than I was a few hours ago.

Well, it appears the error comes from UHD, so you could try the
gqrx/snapsahots PPA instead because it has a newer version. I will
also try to update that repository to UHD 3.6 next week but it will
take several days to complete the builds.
