When I try to launch gqrx I get the following error 


Using Volk machine: sse4_a_64

IQ DCR alpha: 1.04166e-05

audio_oss_sink: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'

what(): audio_oss_sink

The program has unexpectedly finished.

/home/tirus/Documents/SDR/build-gqrx-Desktop-Debug/gqrx exited with code 0


Can anyone help

I struggled with the same error message on my ubuntu linux system. Then I realised that the OSS Proxy daemon wasn't installed.
Install the following packages and gqrx should work:
  • osspd
  • osspd-pulseaudio

I don't see any reason why one would want to use oss audio. It sounds
like a misconfiguration of gnuradio. It should be configured to use
alsa or something else.
