Problem with VM?

Hi,

I'm trying to run a simple CUDA program through gpuocelot, on my Oracle VirtualBox. I have Linux Mint 17.2 on the VirtualBox. I downloaded gpuocelot and the CUDA toolkit 7.5, built gpuocelot and tried to run my CUDA program against ocelot, but it fails and when I print the error, I get:

error: no CUDA-capable device is detected

My configure.ocelot file has been changed to enable emulation i.e devices is set to [emulated].

Is it a problem to run this on a VM?
