Displaying multiple (transparent) img files simultaneoulsy?

Can gpsVP display transparent, overlaid img files simultaneously?
They can be loaded in the GPS where they overlay, but documentation
not clear if it does that in gpsVP, If not, is there a tool that will
do this?

As far as I remember, it does. gpsVP considers all img files transparent.
