How to configure 7z maps? Publish please the example maps in 7z.

I did use it just today the first time: Go to the chace folder and ZIP
the folder with 7z using the nocompress option as
mentioned in the GPSVP release notes. Works fine - just a bit slower
than normal on my old WindowMobile
phone. In my case i am using OpenStreetMap.

What folder can i zip? map, moscow or 9,10...?

Hi,
1. you can't zip "moscow" because mapcfg.ini shouldn't be zipped.
In you case the best is to zip each of subfolders 9, 10, ... (=> 9.7z,
10.7z, ...)
2. you don't need to change anything to mapcfg.ini
gpsvp will automatically look for 7p files if it doesn't find a tile
as normal file.

Sorry - delete my last post. Doesn't work on my PDA - I still had the
old directories on the sd-card.
