Hi,

First of all thank you very much for developing this. You guys are
awesome.

Now to my questions:
1) I downloaded gpsVP to my Moto q9h (a.k.a Q global) and installed
it. After I ran the program it detected my GPS and my location in Utah
from the Worldmap.img file that came into the GPSMaps folder by
default. I then tried to find a detailed map of utah at
gpsmapsearch.com but could not find it. I found one for Colorado and
saved its IMG file under GPSMaps folder on my phone. When I started
the program it opened both the maps, it read both the maps (from 0 to
100%). It showed a green rectangle over Colorado but when I ZOOMED IN
ALL THE WAY it turned to white without any roads or details etc. I
zoomed in and zoomed out plenty of times but there appears to be no
details within it. Am I doing something wrong?

2) Can I move the GPSMaps folder to my sd card instead of keeping it
on my device memory? Will this affect the running of maps?

Thank you in advance for your help. Please keep up the good work

Are you still playing with this Philli?

I just wonder because I have done the same thing .. downloaded to a
Q9h.

Looks good.. I too just need to figure out this maps.. I have a data
account, and it will not download any raster maps for me.
I am in S. Ontario Canada, and I want to use this for boat navigation
mapping.

Just trying to get the most use out of my phone..

I've no experience with such problems
BUT...
if it happens to me I would do some tests:

1) try another map. Maybe Colorado Map is sligthly diffrent or too big
or defined strange symbols - whatever - that disable GPSVP from
dispalying it. I used maps from here: http://ump.waw.pl/mapy/Garmin-Legend-mapa.zip
and confirm it is OK (my hardware : samsung sghi600, wm5.0) . You can
try this maps also.

2) edit IMG file with another editor to check Colorado Map is correct
format. I use MapEdit shareware http://geopainting.com/en

3) there is an "increase details" option in GPSVP. I think I'd tried
it already ?
