Hi Team,

I use GPSTest 3.2.10 / Platform 9 / API level 28 on two devices:

   1. Samsung Galaxy 9, build: PPR1.180610
   2. Xiaomi Mi-8, build: lineage_dipperuserdebug 9 PPR2.181005.003

Both tell me: "SBAS satellites not available"

I try my tests from Berlin, Germany.

Now my question - what did I miss? Any steps I have to prepare to have SBAS available?

TNX  avlot for any suggestion,

Best form Berlin,
Roy

Roy,
SBAS is only supported on certain devices, and in my experience they are very transient, appearing and then disappearing at various times.  Neither the Mi 8 or the Galaxy S9 say they support SBAS, but I have a Galaxy S8+ that does occasionally show SBAS, and the S8+ doesn't officially list SBAS support either.

I'd suggest trying at different times of the day and seeing if they appear.  There really isn't anything you can do to enable or disable them.  On the Mi 8, though, if it's rooted and flashed with Lineage, strange things can happen, as the drivers and Android interface may not match the original device.

Hi,

I can confirm this. I have a Samsung J6 and a Xiaomi Mi 8 and while the Samsung shows almost immediately after first fix connection to European SBAS (south Germany) I have ever seen it on the  Mi8 ruining in parallel (on latest Stock MIUI10).

I guess there is little hope (even on stock OS).
