Distance Measurements

Hello,

I posted awhile back but thought I would ask again as technology moves so fast.

I provide a radio range testing service and need to measure straight line distance in units of yards or meters. While recording signal strength, I need also record distance traveled.

I just stumbled on this which is a fraction of the price of a surveying grade instrument:

It produces a TTL Pulse in Fractions of a Mile (PPM)

This is perfect as I can modify my data acquisition software accorddingly.

Has anyone has seen anything similar for around $250?

Anyone have experience with this company?

Also, more applicable to this group, I would love to have the exact same functionality but with using the Pixel 6a with the new high-resolution GPS chipset.

It would need to have an App which calculates the distance traveled and stream the data out the USB port which I could send to a log file on my Laptop.

Any helpfull ideas would be appreciated!
