CODA V2 Code Window Design
As
we become expert analysts we are always looking for new ways to create a
more efficient code window that we can use during live capture. As our
code windows become larger and larger Containers and Popup tags would be very helpful. Being creative with software that we currently have can make this possible.
Steps to make this possible: Build a Coda2 window with Containers and Popup tags With the Inspector open, click on an open area on the coda2 window Click the Add tab in the dialog box and type <import>title (title will be the name that you choose) Another dialog box will pop up asking you where you would like to save it. For now choose Desktop Close the Inspector and save the Coda2 window to your desktop Launch SportsCode Choose File > Import > Set directory for auto XML import...and choose your desktop Start a SportsCode capture Open up your Coda2 window that you want to use for coding Click on the start button on the toolbar of the Coda2 toolbar Start coding
Now you have successfully built and used a Coda2 window to make live coding with Containers and Popup tags possible with a SportsCode capture. You as an expert analyst will see the value of integrating SportsCode and Coda2.

SportsCode - Dynamic Code Matrix By Ryan Vinz - Eastern Region Support Manager (USA)
For
those Sportstec clients who utilize the Matrix we applaud you for your
analytical prowess … but, in my opinion, only a few of our customers are
utilizing the best part … the Dynamic Matrix.
The picture below
may look somewhat familiar to most of our SportsCode users. It is a
fairly robust matrix with lots of good information.
 However,
depending on the type of game this is, self-scout or opponent scout,
this Matrix can and should be much more helpful. What the dynamic matrix
allows a user to do is take a segment of a game(s) and see what
happened over a certain duration of time. For instance,
Louisville went on a 23-8 run to end this game. If I’m preparing to play
Louisville next I want to see what happened over the that 23-8 run that
made Louisville so successful. To do that, open the matrix, drag the
markers at the bottom of matrix window to the required time range. Set
the left marker to the starting time, then drag the right marker to set
the end time.
The Matrix will now display only the data found within the specified time range. Making your analysis so much more powerful.
 For
more information on the using the Dynamic Matrix please contact your
Sportstec Account Manager or reference page 136 in the SportsCode manual
