Just Starting Out

Hello,

Very cool site. I have a ton of tracks in the NG Topo program, and I'd
like to upload some of them. I am, however, a little slow on the
technical side of things.

What's the process for saving a track in a format that will upload
here? My attempts so far have been thwarted.

Hi Paul,

You can use free GPSBabel program to convert your tracks into GPX format.
You can download it here: http://www.gpsbabel.org/
Choose "National Geographic Topo" as input format and "GPX XML" as output format, the try to upload the produced gpx file..
That will probably work, if not you can send us one of your tracks so we will try it.
