Hi,
I thought I had found a bug in GPSfly, as the Elapsed time @ speed chart was only showing the first 20 minutes of a sailing trip that lasted 2 hours 40 minutes. However, when I checked the GPX file I found a spurious extra line at the end of the track, with the time was 20 minutes after the start time. The GPX file was created using Garmin MapSource on my laptop after I had uploaded the track from my Garmin eTrex (handheld GPS unit), and it was not visible in Garmin MapSource when I examined the track there (you can see all the points, date/time/lat/lon). I cannot figure out how or why MapSource created that spurious extra line.
I created a second copy of the track in mapSource, with the last point of the original track deleted, and when I saved that in GPX format, the error was gone.
I used Notepad to look at the GPX file. The track-point entries are easy enough to understand, showing the latitude / longitude, elevation and date/time for each point:
<trkpt lat="53.207924365997314" lon="-6.101231575012207">
<ele>11.1925048828125</ele>
<time>2015-06-18T13:48:44Z</time>
</trkpt>
Has anybody else seen any error like this?
