Is it likely that the gpse.db file would be included in a standard Google backup?

The display on my phone, which is due to be replaced, has died so I can't get into my phone. The GPS Essentials data file, gpse.db is the only file on the phone that I would like to get off. I have been quoted a lot for replacing the screen on a phone I want to replace so was wondering if the gpse.db file would be included in the standard Google backup file that does backup app data. I find it amazing that I cannot look into the backup file but need to restore onto a phone. I have to find an old phone I can restore onto but am wondering in the meantime if the database is likely to be there or not anyway.
