Problems with Export

Hi,

My Samsung tablet recently downloaded an update from the Beta channel and today I discovered I can no longer Export a stream. Are Export and Share now separated? Perhaps that was always the case but I tried both today and neither worked. Share didn't provide a list of receiving Apps and Export failed with an obscure error message "... did not match start."

Hopefully this can be fixed soon before I run out of space.

Hi Martin,

Sorry that you're experiences problems.

I removed the sharing feature because the number of users making use of it didn't justify the effort. Export should work though. Can you tell me what version of Android is running on your Samsung tablet? Also what export format did you use?

Looks like there is a bug in the Share options menu, I'm working on it. Export should work though, please let me know if you have problems with export.

Hi Michael,

Android version is 8.1.0

GPSe is 4.5.2, it has both Export and Share in the menu

DB is on an SD card

Thanks for the info, I'm about to fix the Sharing menu, it is confirmed broken.

What file type are you trying to export?

Hi Michael,

Any further news on the Export issue? 

I noticed my the app on my tablet was updated to version 4.5.4 recently with a change in the stream menu (Share has gone) but the issue with exporting to a GPX v.1.0 on Google Drive still persists. Problem report submitted last night ~23:50 GMT.
