Hi,

Thanks for the great app, it's my prime and only choice of GPS app besides maps for many years, and I use it mainly for recording tracks, so my current data set has about 200 tracks back to 2018, plus some old backups from old (sidekick) devices while I was still rooting my Android devices, (with Titanium Backup, but I no longer doing that).

With my phone got upgraded to Android 12 last December, and the app upgraded to 4.5.4 yesterday, I found my data all gone when I tried to make a new track today. After some research, I believe that's because the SD card location is no longer available on my device. Fortunately  I managed to move my data from the 'SD card' location to the app's data location with adb shell (I think no other file manager app can do that easier without rooting 🤔 ), and my historical data are back now.

Also, I've tried the Import function on the old data folder, it worked but all the tracks imported back were with ∞ distances, so I prefer not using that.

I also have a vague impression that the app has a sync function with some kind of "accounts" long time ago (also mentioned in the search results of this group), but I can't find it in the app now nor in the online manual.

Now here is my question, is there a recommended way to backup/sync the data without export every single track? What I used to do was sync all the data files with Syncthing to my computer, but it no longer works in this storage setting now (can't access other app's data). Or I guess I need to do the database archiving manually once necessary.

Thanks in advance.
