Hi Michael,

Google maps keeps jumping back to my current GPS location after about 5sec. Not sure what I did differently but last time I was working with Google maps to set and manage waypoints this behavior didn't occur.

Can you please advise.

Regards,
Christian

When you have auto-pan enabled this is the expected behaviour (whenever you receive a new GPS fix). Auto-pan switches off when you pan the map somewhere. Well, at least that's the intended behaviour, if you see something different, please let me know.

Cheers, Michael

How do I enable/disable auto-pan? I couldn't find it in GPSE's 'Settings' menu.

Behaviour on my Samsung Galaxy S3: As per my initial comment, Google maps seems to automatically jump back to my current GPS location.

Please advise if this is a bug and if not, how I can change this setting.

Christian

You can enable auto pan in the toolbar in map view (the dot with the crosshairs). Auto pan disables when you pan manually.

What you see might still be a bug, though.

Hi Michael,

I have tested this behaviour a few times and can confirm that even after manually moving/panning the map it keeps jumping back to my current GPS location.

Can you please investigate.

Cheers,
Christian
