Hi!

I have really spent some time trying to figure it out, but can't even find it mentioned.

I can not get contour lines in the portable maps, no matter what zoom level. In the Google maps they do show up when terrain is selected, but weirdly they disappear on zooming in and are only visible in a small scale, which is not very useful.
But I am almost exclusively using the portable maps anyway.

So how can I make contour lines visible on the portable maps?
Thanks!

The default portable map is OpenStreetMap which does not have contour lines. If you change the portable map to OpenTopoMap you should get contour lines. You change the map from the circle menu -> Eyeball icon -> Map icon

My experience is that only OpenStreetMap loads fast enough for my hiking usage, so I just hike without contour lines.
