Hi,

I would like to be able to create simple navigation maps to use off line when I do not have data coverage. I have been able to save the maps (points and lines) to a .kml file and transfer to my sd card and can find it under settings in waypoints and select import, but then I cannot find it in GPS essentials. ( I followed these directions: http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/forum/thread/499227/How-to-Turn-Your-Android-Phone-Into-a-Handheld-GPS).

Hi,

Did the import produce something? There is a yellow banner after the import indicating how many waypoints/routes/tracks have been created.

Cheers, Michael
