How to open old database

Hi

I have old database backups of my tracks. They are from GPSEssentials version 3.2. How to open them in newer version of GPSEssentials? I see that they are in other format now, old info was in "Waypoints" and  "Waypoints-journal" files, new is "gpse.db". So copying old files to GPSEssentials folder doesn't do anything. I also tried to install same old version of GPSEssentials but even if it installs nicely it closes immediately after launch. I don't have any old device where these tracks were saved from available either.

So what are my options to get old database to work, to get my tracks back from it?
