I just got this from a fortune cookie -- and I find this to be very true -- both for career progression and our spiritual journeys:
"The road to success is always under construction"
-------
Ask this about yourself . .
1. Do you often feel your life is set and you just got to keep doing what you're doing for the rest of your life, and then you will succeed? (if so, I think you've become too old -- you're someone that no longer feels the need to learn)
2. Do you find yourself to be unteachable? (when someone with different strengths appear, do you find yourself resisting to learn from this person? --- oh . . and this one's important -- if you find someone less talented than you, can you find yourself to be teachable even from this person -- especially at times when that person has suddent great insights?)
3. If you've grown in a more Asian culture -- this one applies to you . . . when you find someone younger than you that may have something to teach you, can you learn from them?
Are you under construction?
Everyone, comments please.
