Hi,

I can get the maps from Mobile Atlas Creator to my sd card, but I
can't view them on my HTC Desire using the application. What am I
doing wrong, if anything?

Hi David,

Sorry for the late reply. Did you figure it out at the end? There are some instruction on our Google group page including video instruction.

Cheers

Having the same problem here. Using a Moto DEFY, loaded the maps using
the instructions you gave in the video, and I cannot figure out how to
view offline maps. Are they loaded automatically into the GPS view, or
how do you access them?

Okay, nevermind, I figured it out. There are a few kinks, so let me
describe it:

I was using Terraserver to get USGS topo maps, and Mobile Atlas
Creator exports Terraserver tiles under the .png format. Renaming the
Terraserver folder to USGS doesn't work because your program
recognizes USGS tiles as .jpg files... So, short-term workaround, I
just renamed the exported folder as Osmarender, since they both use
the .png format. This is purely short-term, offline use, so it doesn't
matter for the time being, but this could be an issue later on.

Cheers,

M

Yes, they do load up automatically into the map.
