Great app with truly amazing O.S. Grid accuracy for 'Get Coordinate from Map' in 'Aerial' (Google Maps) Mode. However switch to 'O.S. Map' mode and Northings is always at least 25 metres down, see attached screenshots for O.S. Grid intersection coordinates (should be exact 100 metre units). Correct Northing coordinate appears to be lower edge of target dot. To improve usability and accuracy, assuming Northings bug can be fixed, would it be possible to incorporate a 'crosshair' type pointer option with centre circle semi-transparent to allow improved positioning of cursor over required point. Already a phenomenal surveying tool allowing topo surveys to be positioned and orientated in O.S. Grid with 'sub metre' precision in Aerial mode if three or more points are used in 'best-fit', these tweaks would greatly enhance usabilty.
Also after attaining required zoom level in 'Aerial Mode', if you switch to 'O.S. Map' mode you need to zoom in all over again down from whole of U.K. view - could zoom levels not be linked automatically to avoid this glitch ?
Great app & keep up the development.

Hi David,

Thanks for you comment.

Just a quick email to say that I'm now working on the bug with the os grid. The crosshair already being implemented but I'm just refining it.
The zoom issue is being work on too.

Can you explain "if three or more points are used in 'best-fit', these tweaks would greatly enhance usabilty." a bit more?

Feel free to let me know if there are things that I could do to improve the app.

Many thanks,
Luck

Hi Luck,

Thanks for your email.

Fantastic that your are taking on board comments!

Don't worry about 'best-fit' thing, it's just how I use your app to orientate Topo Surveys into OS Grid. If I get OS Grid coordinates from your app for well defined points e.g. white line intersections on roads which I have also measured in the local grid of the Topo Survey I can then best-fit the local survey grid into the OS grid, often with sub-metre precision. This works great for small surveys where grid scale effect is not too large.

Look forward to your next update - keep up good work - great app well worth £5.

Just a quick screenshot of the development. I'm ironing out bits here and there before issuing an update.
Any inputs are more than welcome.

Cheers,
Luck
