Bought this the other day, and it proved invaluable while out biking.
Great at telling us where we were and perfect back up to paper map.
However, it now appears frozen and there is nothing i can do to
unfreeze it. When i go to GPS it tells me I am about 50 miles from
where I am, it's giving me a position on way home yesterday. I have
cleared data and uninstalled it several times, but nothing works. When
I install it again and go to GPS, then it tells me i am still on the
A703. If anyone can help it would be great as it's a superb app when
it's working. Using it on at HTC Incredible S.

Cheers,

Gregor

Can you remember what you were doing when it frozen up?

Cheers,

Wasn't doing anything when it froze. Used it yesterday while biking, recorded route and used GPS function several times to check location. Had a look ay app today and GPS would not update on location. Have solved issue by removing battery and sin from phone and installing app again. Had to pay for it again but it is working now.

Sorry for the delay.
Just uploaded an update, it should improve the memory usage when recording so it should fix the freeze issue. Please let me know how you get on.

Hi there,

Installed the update but now the GPS is unable to get a fix on my location. It was almost instant before but I have tried leaving it for up to ten minutes and it just says locating nut won't give a position. Sorry about this.

What phone have you got?
I have now set it so if the last fix was over than 5 mins then it won't use the last fix.
What's the SNR displaying on the screen?

It's an HTC Incredible S. SNR is wavering but going up to about 30. Location works with Google maps no problem at all. When I was using app on Saturday it was very quick and very accurate so don't know what problem could be. Thanks for taking tome to help me sort this out.

The SNR should really go up to about 120 or more. Could you try rebooting the phone?

Tried that and still same. Like I said, it was working fine before so don't understand what is going on. Looks like it is not going to work so might just ditch app from phone. Shame because it is great when it works.

I will try to release a fix later on.

It's started working. Downloaded a GPS test app to check if it was working okay and after running it your app started working. Fingers crossed that's problem solved. Cheers for helping out

Glad that sort itself out. I'm still not sure what the issue is. But if you come across the problem again please let me know.

Hi,

Just letting you know, I have just put up another update. It should improve the GPS reading.
Also other improvements....

If you don't mind please vote and rate the app. I will be much appreciated.

Best wish,
Luck
