Dear all,
I have been working on GPR antenna modelling. Currently I am working on bistatic two layered media (air-PEC) with bowtie antennas. One bowtie antenna contains 2 triangles, so totally 4 triangles have considered. Each bowtie antenna need one transmission line feeding, so two transmission line feedings have considered. The IN file is simulating succesfully, but the OUT file showing errors as follows:
1. While attempting to plot A-scan result, it is giving that no receiver found.
2. While attempting antenna parameters result, it is giving that tools.plot_Ascan_antenna_params module is not found. But actually, i can find the module in gprMax installation folder in my computer.

I couldn't fix the problem. Can anyone help. I am attaching corresponding IN file here. Please let me know any errors in code.
How to configure transmitting antenna and receiving antenna by using triangle function?
How to configurre transmission lines for transmitter and receiver antennas?

Please help.

Thank you.

Regards
Rohit

Dear Rohit,

It seems that you have twor Transmitters installed.

if you'll consider to look into  ~\gprMax\user_libs\antennas\GSSI.py you'll get some ideas how to pick up bow-tie antenna's

You neet to define at least one rx.

I don't know if the 'receiver'triangles are connected to each other. Bit if they do, place the rx as wollow:
#transmission_line: x 0.35 0.25 0.45 73 my_gaussian
#rx: 0.65 0.25 0.45

now ithe rx works as your receiver and will pick up the singnal.

Dear Rohit,

If you want to use transmission lines for both transmitter and receiver bowties, you have to specify a receiver waveform with zero amplitude (the other parameters do not matter) to use with the transmission line on your receiving bowtie, e.g.

#waveform: gaussian 1 2e9 my_src
#waveform: gaussian 0 2e9 my_rx
#transmission_line: x 0.35 0.25 0.45 73 my_src
#transmission_line: x 0.65 0.25 0.45 73 my_rx

Kind regards,
Craig
