Hello all,
I’ve modelled a scaled replica of the Adrushya (Mine II) in gprMax and simulated it under various environments. The scaling was done because the original landmine size produced excessively strong reflections in the simulation domain, so I reduced the dimensions to achieve more realistic reflected signals.
Original landmine (real):
L×W×H: 330 × 240 × 140 mm
Body: ~10% GRP (polycarbonate)
Liner: Copper
My scaled model (in gprMax):
Cylinder: R = 60 mm, H = 40 mm
Sphere: R = 40 mm
Box 1 (center): 105 × 120 × 40 mm — Filling: PEC
Box 2 (bottom): 60 × 120 × 30 mm
Materials: εr varied 2–4, σ = 0 S/m
Questions:
Is there an existing gprMax model for Adrushya / Mine II (with copper liner / GRP body) that I could compare with?
Any quick suggestions to improve the realism of my current model (liner, composite body, or materials)?
I’m also attaching images of both the original landmine and my modelled version for better understanding.
Thanks in advance,
Moloy
