RE: GPRECGlobalAlumni -Fund Raising Campaign for GPREC Math Prof's Treatment

Hello All,
Our campaign started after talking to the principal of GPREC few weeks back (around end of March 2011) wherein we understood from Principal that there was not any such appeal by GPREC online or over email (because prof’s family was not sure of seeking such support and did not consent) till then – to support the treatment through LinkedIn Alumni Portal. Emails to this effect where Principal has suggested to aggregate the funds into one account and transfer to Prof’s family for our requests are attached to this email.
Subsequently, I’ve spoken to prof’s family – himself, his son, his elder brother where they were thankful for this effort showing reverence and respect to the prof and they have consented our request of accepting the contributions from our fund raising.
It’s up to the contributors to contribute directly to Prof’s family account or GPREC account or Open Fund Raising Campaign. All roads lead to one cause – support the treatment to fill the cheers back into the family whose member has made some contributions to what most of us are today – does not matter which route you take.

Our campaign has set a timeline of middle of next week and hand over the aggregated funds to the family personally by end of next week. If you are planning to contribute thr’ this campaign, pls do as per these timelines else you are welcome to contribute through the other routes – contribution is important.
