Briar; do get one of your grandchildren, a friend if need, to sort out your
problems accessing and navigating these google boards.
Issues of text size, finding pages are easily resolved by someone with
even a low level of computer familiarity.

Briar; do this this for me.

You are reading this post.
Hold down the key marked Ctrl (usually on the bottom left of the keyboard)
Now press the key near the top row marked with a plus sign +.
Do it again.
If you want to reduce the text size press Ctrl and the minus sign - together.

It will work on almost any page, even newspaper links.

I want my old board back ! No criticism of you dear Jane, but the new
format used by Google I find clumsy and over-complicated, and I really
like the freedom of a POC-board, that tolerates even those who's
English is so poor that they sometimes can only swear and write and
think in slang expressions. I mean, just because they are poorly
educated, it should not mean that they are not allowed to express an
opinion, surely ? I know it is not one really, but we are supposed to
pretend to be living in a "democracy" (It is actually nothing of the
sort, but a Politocracy, which means "government by and for the
benefit of Politicians", but it is nice to keep up the pretence,
sometimes. Other times I think that if we were to be open about the
truth of the matter more people would get more cross and we could
finally have the much needed revolution and through the whole
basketful of basket cases OUT !)

I would refer you to what happened in the Arab Spring Briar which let it he basket cases after those being fed up with another for of dictatorship were killed fighting for democracy

Dear Jaria,

I think that there is a fundamental difference between Arabs and
Brits, in the way they think, in the indoctrination each underwent as
children, that sets the format they will mostly follow in adulthood,
and in how they use the brains they have. Someone tried to illustrate
the difference by describing the Arab as an "in time" person, and a
Brit as a "through time" person - pointing out how Brits stand outside
the moment, considering alternative responses, thinking through the
consequences of each, before selecting one they consider most
suitable, whilst Arabs are so immersed in the moment that they react
immediately, without thinking in detail about the consequences... We
are ALL, Arabs and Brits, individuals and there will be exceptions to
some degree or another in individuals' responses, but as a
generalization I think there is a lot in this concept.

The poor Arabs are trapped in a sophisticated world of modern
gadgetry, electronics, secular concepts, etc with the disadvantage of
having been thoroughly soaked in a messy mixture of lies and
misunderstandings labelled "Islam", that only a few can break away
from. This false set of concepts was cooked up to support a way of
life that involved slow travel in camel caravans, wandering about,
surviving in deserts with little in the way of water, and it is
totally useless to people trapped in the age of computers, weapons of
great complexity and power, new ways of farming, and the need to make
full use of all one's human resources.

It would appear to be far safer for eastern europeans, and Brits, to
contemplate a revolution, than for poorly educated and highly
indoctrinated Arabs to do so.

They need our help now, just as we needed theirs back when the
mediaeval christinsane were burning women alive as witches, blaming
them for the diseases caused by their mens' lack of hygiene, and
forgetting what the ancient Greeks and Romans had learned and passed
on to them.

As you say Briar themajority of Arabs are highly indoctrinated which is very obvious to us when they settle in the UK . One hoped that their children having been brought up in this country with freedom of access to other information than that forced into them by ignorant old and twisted men called Imams would open their eyes and to be honest it has with some but others as we see are still chained to their old beliefs.
We see how they look upon young British girls . Can you imagine the outrage if British boys treated their females in the same way. Apart from the fact that the females have so few rights in their homeland. Even over here they have been killed by their own parents, unbelievable!! Then there still remains the disgusting habit of female circumcision , I assume that spoliation of pleasure is that they are meant to be nothing more than breeders.
Everywhere in the world you see Islamists using force to preside over how they see others should live and the Pope was right when he called it the religion of the sword. It is as the bible states a false religion.

Jaria,

I find it hard to believe that any, even that most vile and disgusting
of them all, would support the torture and disfigurement of little
girls, but the circumcision of baby boys is also something we should
make a criminal offence of, too. The bits removed in either gender
evolved in our ancestors to perform some function or functions, and
taking them away for obscure ritualistic reasons to please, so the
believing fools imagine, some malicious magical invisible being, is
really something so daft it ought not to have survived this long.

Some of these viral mind-parasites are really the devil to get rid
of !
