I was delighted to see a few messages come onto this board after an absence of some weeks.  Please do come here and say anything you wish to.  This Board is NOT CENSORED, it is a place of FREE SPEECH.

I do not wish to ENCOURAGE bad language, but it is a fact that not everyone who wants to say something can do so without the occasional swear word, not everyone has had the very best education available to them, or even more, an education was not really available for many.  Even when I was growing up there were classrooms where nobody behaved or listened to the "teacher" and few learned anything at all.   From my Grandchildren I have been given to understand it has got worse even.  I hope that soon the idea of schools will be extinct and children will learn at home over their computer tutor, at their own pace, which if their parents are up to the job of parenting, will be very fast.

Greetings to all, and please take care on Bonfire and Fireworks night, next week.  On this Island where I now live we have more fireworks at New Year than on Nov 5th, as the goings on in Westminster back then was of no importance whatever to the Scots.  In England every Nov 5th there were accidents and sometimes serious burns, because of stupidity and cafelessness.  Adults, please keep an eye on your and all the other children, dont let a second of folly ruin a life.
